1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Supabus (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Supabus currently operates as an independent project rather than through a separate registered corporate entity; if that changes, this section will be updated with the operating company's legal name and registered address.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your password. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload files you do not have the legal right to process.
• Use the Service to process unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage quotas, or premium-feature gating.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond what a documented API allows.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are not yet available for purchase. Once launched, they will bill in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. A specific refund policy will be published here before paid plans launch.

5. AI-generated content

Certain tools use third-party AI providers to generate text output. AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your purpose; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results.

6. Third-party content (YouTube tools)

Certain tools let you fetch publicly-viewable content from YouTube (e.g. a video's thumbnail image or its caption transcript). This content is created and owned by the respective video's creator, not by us. These tools only surface content already shown to any viewer of the video and do not grant access to anything private or restricted - a transcript, for example, contains the same text available from that video's own caption toggle. These tools are provided for personal and research use. You are responsible for how you use, store, or redistribute content obtained this way, including complying with applicable copyright law. These features rely on publicly available data, are not part of YouTube's official API, and may become unavailable or change without notice if YouTube changes how this data is served.

7. Advertising

As of the date above, the Service does not display any advertising. If that changes, the Service may display advertisements from third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense, and we would not be responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the sites they link to. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies would be used.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of any files you upload and any output generated from them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account page.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Supabus's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived by agreement. This section will be updated with a specific named jurisdiction once Supabus operates through a registered entity.
